Craft Beer 101 ‘class’ - featuring local brews
School never tasted this good!
Push the limits of your curfew on a school night (aka weekday) & join us at this fun Savvy U beer class at Ottawa's own brewery - Kichesippi Beer Company. It is the perfect time for you to learn and enjoy the world of craft beer. During this evening, you will sample five to seven locally made brews as you learn the method & artistry of craft beers:
- different styles of beer making
- beer tasting techniques
- speaking the beer lingo like a pro
- watch your head!
- each beer has its own glass - what difference does it make ?
- how to pour a 'proper' pint
- taste to appreciate the different types and styles of beers
- signature brews from different countries
- beer and food - there are pairing techniques!
Since homework is improved with a snack, assorted charcuterie & local artisan cheeses will be provided.
